Oh, woe to me. It's pretty confusing. Then again, I can't seem to find any kind of way out of this mess and I bet the others wouldn't be too offended if I...make the best use of my time here. Yes, that's a good way to put it.

I found a job at a repair shop. It's like being back with The Mechanist. I'm not sure about all the stuff people bring in, but the owner is pretty good about teaching me what he knows. And I pretty much just do other stuff around the shop. Sweeping.

Sweeping is not manly. But cool stuff! I'm sure even Katara would agree I'm doing the right thing here. Right? I'm leaning stuff!

What's going on? This was not part of the plan! Don't these people realize that there are important things going on? We're talking fate-of-the-world big, and I'm told to just get a job! I had a perfectly good job already. I mean, how much better does it get that the Avatar's Right-hand Man? (Aang might not like the title, but I think it fits.)

But man, this Goraidh place. They've got things here I couldn't dream up in a million years.
